Despite the challenges that activists have faced during this era of civil rights, we still find examples of strength and courage within our communities. Martin and Coretta’s legacy reminds us that we can all be agents for positive change when we work tirelessly to end injustice and inequality.
No matter the odds, no matter the obstacle, nothing can stop us from fighting for what is right. We will continue to stand for equity and justice, just as Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King did throughout their lives.
